About Me

RED AND WHITE by Roger Klause
Defying the... Paintball?
Let's keep this short and sweet. I grew up in Milton, Fl, which is just outside of Pensacola. Joined the Air Force after high school and they sent me from the beach to the desert as a practical joke that lasted throughout my enlistment. I've been in Albuquerque for a little over 4 1/2 years. I've noticed that the only people that seem to like it out here are the ones that moved here from somewhere else. Outside of the military, I'm a performing magician. I've performed all over this area. I've performed everywhere from Buffalo Thunder Resort and Casino to the Launchpad.
*SENSES & MORE*
*SiGHT*
Do you wear any type of corrective lenses?: Until I can afford Lasik
Who is the first person you see in the morning?: Usually one of the guys from the office. Not the greatest faces to wake up too.
What do you see when you look out your window?: The parking lot of my apartment. Luckily the mountains are directly behind it.
Name one place you'd like to see that you haven't yet.: Ireland. I've got to make that trip. Probably after I drop off the face of the earth in a couple of years.
Would you rather see the sun shining or snow falling?: Depends on how hard the snow's falling. People out here lose it when it rains. It's worse when the snow's out.
What is the ugliest article of clothing you've ever seen?: Still don't really pay that much attention
Who makes your eyes light up when you see them?: Erica and her little ones, because they're all adorable.
Is there somewhere you've been that has a great view?: Wolf Creek in Pagosa Springs, the mountains in Tennesee and the beaches back home.
How often do you see your family?: Not as often as I'd like. I try to make it home at least once a year.
What was the last movie you saw in the theater?: Zack and Miri...
What was the last concert you went to?: I almost got to watch Otep a while back. I don't have the time to go to too many concerts.
Name something around you that is red.: There's probably a deck of cards around me somewhere.
What color is your car?: Silver
Who do you wish you could see more often?: There are a couple of people back home that I wouldn't mind seeing more often. There's also the Vegas and L.A. friends that I should visit more.
*SMELL*
What is your favorite smell?: Don't think I have one, although I'm apparently fond of General Mills cereal plant.
What do you think is the worst smell in the world?: I use to work with this one guy...
Your favorite perfume/cologne to wear?: I wear different stuff all the time, so I don't really have a favorite.
Do you like the smell of incense?: Depends on the type. A lot of them just smell like burning wood, which isn't all that bad but doesn't have much distinction.
What's your favorite candle scent?: Not to big on candles used for scent.
What kind of soap/shower gel do you use?: Axe usually. Just like the name.
Do you have an air freshener in your car?: No.
Can you handle the smell of a skunk?: I've had to do it plenty of times.
Does second-hand smoke bother you?: Yeah, but not because of the smell.
Do you crinkle your nose when you smell something that isn't pleasing?: Isn't that a natural reaction?
What food makes you hungry just by smelling it?: My mom's food back home.
What can you smell right now?: My office.
Can you smell it in the air when its about to rain?: Yeah, but it's from growing up in Florida.
*S0UND*

Do you listen to loud music when you drive?: Me? Course not.
Do you enjoy peace and quiet?: Sometimes. It's nice to be able to just sit and think from time to time.
Do you like the loud sounds of the city or quietness of the country?: Depends. When I need to get out, I tend to drive in quiet places with loud music.
Are you one of those people who can hear a pin drop?: Usually.
Do loud noises make you jump easily?: Occasionally, usually only with a flashing light.
What sound drives you nuts?: Bad music
What kind of music do you enjoy the most?: Rock. Any kind of rock. Once you hit that EMO stage, you're no longer considered rock.
What can you hear right now?: Cars driving by.
Does you set your alarm to the buzzer or the music?: Does you? I've had it set on music, but it's never perfectly set to a station. The noise is so annoying that I have to get up to turn it off.
Would you rather be in a crowded & rowdy bar or a low-key one?: I seem to be in both more and more, but low key is the best. I like being able to hold a conversation without screaming.
What's the greatest thing anyone has ever said to you?: I can't think of anything witty to put here.
Sticks and stones may break your bones, but do words really hurt you?: No. I don't have time to get upset over things like that.
When you hear another person crying, does it make you sad, too?: Depends on who's crying
*TASTE*
Sweet or Sour?: Sour usually. Sweets tend to get old.
Do you like spicy foods?: I'm from the south. We all like spicy food.

The worst food ever?: I think I was given spinach when I was young and it killed almost all vegetables for me.
Your favorite meal?: Whatever I'm cooking at the moment.
Your favorite fruit?: Navel Oranges.
What's your favorite kind of soda?: I've been trying to cut most of them out, but there's still Mountain Dew.
Chocolate Milk or Plain?: Depends on what it's with. I don't like milk for the sake of having milk.
Do you put pickles on your sandwiches?: No. Not at all.
Ketchup or Mustard?: Ketchup
Ever been to a wine-tasting event?: Nope.
Pick your favorite flavor of Doritos.: I don't have much of a preference.
*T0UCH*
Are you ticklish?: Not that I know of.
Where?: I have no idea.

Who is the last person you held hands with?: Almost definitely Erica
What was your last injury?: My back and knee are in chronic pain. That count?
Have you ever dropped something heavy on your toe?: Once or twice.
When you fall off something, do you keep trying or give up?: Does that mean when I fail at something? Yeah, I keep trying. I'm not big on giving up.
Does pain scare you?: No. Remember, I got married. That kind of pain prepares you for everything.
What feeling makes you most comfortable?: The feeling of sitting in my car crossing the state line into Florida or leaving a show knowing that I killed.
Do you like the feeling of walking barefoot on the beach?: I'm from Florida. It's actually a requirement to enjoy that feeling if you go.

Are you religious?: Very
Who/what do you need next to you to fall asleep at night?: I live alone. I don't need anyone to fall asleep. Want is another story all together.
Do you have a short fuse?: No. I just bottle things up and hold them in until I'm older. then I'll deal with the psychological issues.

How do you deal with confrontation?: Confront it?

Who was the last person to hurt your feelings?: I honestly don't remember.
What do you feel is your strongest emotion?: Couldn't tell you
What was the last thing that happened that upset you?: I felt like I totally blew a really important show. I'm sure it was mostly in my head, since I'm a perfectionist.

Are you in love?: With who? That's the key to that question.
What was the greatest day of your life?: November 28, 2005 but only a couple people will get that one.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I enjoy meeting most people. It's gotten to the point that I can barely keep track of names anymore because I try to meet so many different groups. Most people use this space to mention all the famous people they like, but fame and fortune isn't really that big a deal. I want to meet those people that I mentioned in my "Heroes" section.
