About Me

Biography
Nadie is a female singer/songwriter Nadie Keating from West London. Nadie has been performing since she was three years old in her fathers band and it was obvious that she would follow in her parents footsteps after being born into such a strong musical family. Nadies mother was a vocalist and her father was a drummer and vocalist.
Nadie has been gigging in and around London in various acts for well over six years, and this is where she met Jo Webb her co-writer and producer, whilst working for the same band. What wasnt an instant liking, soon changed as they realised that they had plenty in common, from their similar Celtic backgrounds to their love of music including bands such as Pink Floyd, Soundgarden, Led Zeppelin & Kate Bush which have influenced them greatly. These common interests soon led to a solid and creative working partnership.
Nadie born to two Irish parents takes on the role of vocalist, frontperson and songwriter in the live band with a passion for live performance coupled with an extrovert personality that makes her an energetic and charismatic front person. A force to be reckoned with and her live shows have to be seen to be believed!
In the two years that Nadie and Jo have been working together, Nadie have managed to sign a management deal with Rage Management, which has led them to co-write and record her debut 11 track album The MNaughton Rule, which is a collection of songs describing dysfunctional relationships. Written during a time when Nadie had broken up from a long term relationship and had recently suffered the death of her father, every song is an emotional and heartfelt experience.
With two singles already released in 2005 and the album set to see a release in 2006, Nadie is now getting ready for some intensive gigging and has already started writing new music for her planned second album (demos available).
REVIEWS
"My, my, my, Somebody was very generous when they dished out the voice to die for and it appears Nadie has taken more than her share! Nadie wipes the floor with the competition" - Sion Smith, Zero Magazine. October 2005
"Less angst than Avril Lavigne and more melodic than Alanis" - The Sun, August 2005
"If this band don't get national exposure soon it is a loss to the British Music Industry!" - Steve Robinson, DJ, Total Rock radio. Music Week 29th October 2005
"Elegent, Moving and surprisingly eclectic, Nadie go a long way in attempting to reinvigorate an increasingly bland and sanguine pop market with a record that packs a punch and isn't afraid to be different." - BMB Times Group newspapers, November 2005.
