What is Spunk Rock? Spunk Rock is Punk Rock classics. The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Damned, The Buzzcocks, The Dead Kennedys, The Stooges, The Ramones, Radio Birdman, Sham 69, Stiff Little Fingers. All these and more are in the Bollocks' set list.

In the Eighties, when we were angry young men, members of the Bollocks played in some of Brisbane's best known alternative bands. We played in The Five Hanks, La Fetts, The Four Horseman, The Adorable Ones, Sister Christmas, Big Lummox, The Lounge Lizards, Primal Scene - the list goes on. Now that we are mildly-annoyed middle aged men, we have created Brisbane's premier Spunk Rock band for your listening pleasure.
Sit back in your cozy chair, pull on your comfy slippers, arrange the blanket on your lap, take a big sip of your warm Horlicks and let your mind meander back to the Eighties - to the Punk Rock capital of the universe - Brisbane.

Remember drinking the afternoons away at White Chairs? We were there!
Remember The Stranglers clobbering V2 with a bass guitar at The Queens Hotel? We were there!
Remember coming out of The Dead Kennedy's gig at Festival Hall and the cop cars pulled up in Charlotte Street as far as the eye could see? We were there!
Remember the AM radio throwing and the TV smashing competitions at the 4ZZZ Radiothons? We were there!
Remember that night at Easts Leagues Club when the bouncer chased 4-Balls around with a baseball bat? We were there!
