I just want to add a quick note that I still have a small fabric supply that I had bought in the past that might not be fair trade ~I will be using these fabrics up in some pieces but I promise that all new fabrics that are purchased will fall under one of the categories above. Fair Trade is an amazing movement and I am happy to be supporting the movement in the fabrics I will be incorporating into my wearable art. Fair Trade pays artisans fair wages and helps create sustainable communities in impoverished areas. I have read that over 90% of the clothing coming into the US is made in sweatshops. This is so sad, but we have a voice. By buying fair trade, second hand, made in the USA, and by stopping our support of companies that use sweatshops we can make a difference. For more information on Fair trade please check out www.fairtradefederation.org ( FAQs ).All of my items are of the highest quality and are built to be lived in, loved, and to last. I do all of the dying of my hemp and organic fabrics myself and put much time and energy into all the details of each unique piece. I hope that my clothing brings you joy and security in knowing that you have helped support a growing movement of positive change for the environment and humanity.I would like to say a special thanks to my brother-in-law Tony for creating this amazing website for me! And of course to all my friends, family, and customers who have helped me in more ways that I can explain. I am so grateful. Thank you so much!Namasté, www.namastepatchworkcreations.com
