J-Oats born and raised as a product of Maywood, IL now resides on the Westside of Chicago where he analyzes his surroundings and life’s tribulations as the inspiration of his hard rhymes. J-Oats enjoyed writing/performing music as simply another hobby before joining forces with "super promoter" Rob T. and On Point Entertainment where he now serves as the CO-Chief of Operations. J-Oats is gradually turning his hobby into a prospering career! His career is taking off thanks to various performances within Chicago such as repeated appearances at The Wild Hare and Funky Buddha Lounge that provides the exposure needed to showcase and introduce his talent to the world.
