Pedro [AULAS DE GUITARRA] Romão

Pedro Romão, session musician, jumped into the music scene back in 1986 when he started learning classical piano in one academy managed by two of the finest musicians/producers still working in Portugal and outside the country. He took piano lessons for the following 8 years. Amazed by the heavy sounds of guitar on the few rock albuns his sister had, such as Ozzy Osbourne, Queen, Metallica and a few more, he soon dropped his piano lessons and jumped to guitar. You know, back in 1994 I believe that internet was not available yet, so he could have met great rock keyboard players such as Derek Sherinian, Jon Lord, Kevin Moore, Jordan Rudess... Too late to return to piano lessons again, he decides that guitar would be his instrument. And starts to learn some advanced techniques. In 2005 begins working as a guitar teacher in a well known academy in Vendas Novas and Setubal, and in 2006 starts teaching guitar lessons to beginner/intermediate students in one academy managed by one of the "pop-stars" of the moment. 2007 became the year of the "I want to start creating my own music", moved to Lisboa, met vocalist Pedro Vargas and are now working in No Quarter (covers) project for now, and other stuff to come...
