Just here posting up some stuff I've been working on. I grew up playing in church then hit the secular music scene as a late teenager. The party lifestyle associated with that (at least for a young, wide-eyed adventurer such as myself) nearly did me in. I owe Jesus, my wife & my family more than I'll ever be able to repay for the rescue. After many years of just being a normal, working husband & dad, I've finally been given another chance to be musically creative again, and I'm having a great time doing it!
I'm now in the studio wrapping up some original work which will eventually be my first ever solo project, Lord willing. It's a slow go as I've tracked all the instruments and vocals myself, and it's pretty obvious that the chops don't just effortlessly flow. But, I'm working to get better and as with everything else in my life, depending on the Lord.
God has blessed me so much in compiling these recordings. I don't know if anyone else will like the stuff or not, but I can say the time spent has grown me closer to Him, if nothing else. There's priceless reward in doing music about things way bigger than you. Had a lot of fun experimenting with different styles and sounds too.
I'm thankful to God for the endless blessings He has given me and my family. Most of all, I'm thankful for the gift of His son Jesus, by which we're forgiven.
Several have asked about a CD. I'm trying to finish mixing, then I'll have something available. Hopefully...middle of summer. Maybe :) Thanks for all your comments and support, I love y'all.
Hope you enjoy the music.

I love this. When things are unbearable and the weight on your back makes it seem impossible to take another step, remember...with God, all things are possible! The looks on the faces of these people validate the peace and rest of knowing Christ, no matter life's circumstances. It's a short and quick journey here, but in Christ there's sweet assurance of a perfect and worry-free tomorrow. Jesus loves you right where you are and He waits with open arms. Humble your heart and turn to Him today - He'll be the best friend you ever had! Thanks for sharing this Kristy!

As a kid growing up, our home was always filled with the sounds of gospel music. Dad loved it and I didn't know anything else. Those old songs are still very special to me and this one by the Kingsmen Quartet and Big Jim Hamill was a great message of forgiveness. This is Big Jim, many years after the Kingsmen's heyday, doing it one more time.
