YEL is an interactive workshop that interfaces with young adults to help expedite interest about career opportunities for their future.We are a focused community of executives, mentors and volunteers all coming to gether in an environment of mutual respect and passion for today's youth.Youth, ages 12-18 are offered hands on programs that will help to teach them the inner workings of Entertainment and professions within.Our 12-week program covers four core areas of Entertainment: SPORTS, FASHION, MUSIC, and FILM/TELEVISON.Our 120 minute workshops consist of 4, 30 minute segments for each subject with steady rotation. This gives each youth the ability to participate in all four areas in one weekly workshop session. By doing so, we are able to determine their interest, plant the seed and help it grow.YEL is dedicated to broadening the minds of young adults by providing insight of the behind the scenes of the inner workings of the Entertainment Industry. Offering programs that will help build self esteem, leadership, promote positive behavior and respect for self, elders and others. We are a team that commands, thinking, asking pursuing and achieving!In the urban community, our youth are left to find their own entertainment and companionship in the streets. A large percentage of today’s youth are roaming the streets with very little to down when parents have work. Unfortunately, this fact often leads to being exposed to neighborhood violence, run ins with the law and many times the problem can escalate to LOSS OF LIFE. Our youth need to know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that someone has their back and the dedication and determination to help them be successful.IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE OUR YOUTH...YEL IS A PART OF THAT VILLAGE!!
