Biography Electronic Fairies was formed in June 1999 by Emil Herceg and Ashera Hart. They met in Spring 1999 while working on an album called ’’Doors to Avalon’’ by Anahata (released through Changing World Records, January 2000 - www.changing-world.com). This was a one-off project and the members were Emil Herceg, Titin Moraga (Yellow Magnetic Star) and Chris Deckker (Medicine Drum/Return to the Source). Ashera was the main vocalist featured.Emil is from Varazdin in Croatia and has studied the healing power of sound for over 15 years. He has researched the effects of music on the body in floatation tanks and also using brain machines. More recently, he has worked with a Multimedia company in London, Artewisdom, producing music for video presentations, the internet and computer games, for such clients as:- Emirate Airlines, the British Film Institute and Rover.Ashera is from Bristol, UK and has been a singer for over 14 years having worked on many different types of project. From her early beginnings as a jazz singer she moved on to creating as a songwriter in melodic and gothic pop, Celtic acoustic tribal and then on to more spiritual, new or ’’Now’’ age music. Her recording credits include (most recent first): ’’Sirene’’, ’’Contact’’, ’’Time Strings’’ on Anahata’’s ’’Doors to Avalon’’ (Ambient music), ’’Libera’’ on Chris Michell’’s ’’the Dolphin Song’’ (Oreade/New Age music), ’’Sacred Reunion’’ by Star Children on Return to the Source’’s ’’Sacred Sites’’ (Positiva/ Ambient) and ’’Shaddah El Chai’’ by Avatara on Return to the Source’’s ’’Chakra Journey’’ (Positiva/Ambient). She is currently recording her own debut album in Australia.The music of Electronic Fairies is a beautiful journey through swirling ethereal soundscapes and groovy beats with vocals which seek to touch the heart and spirit of the listener.Emil start to writte and produce their frste Electronic Fairies album while living in Paris and Ashera has added her own magic with vocals. This is now nearing completion... :-)
