With Reggaeton music migrating from Puerto Rico and growing in the Dominican Republic, it has emerged in a huge way nationally and internationally and has become one of the hottest genre's of music. Many young kids have begun embracing the music in their souls such as this hot, young and talented group, "119" or "Uno19". The group is formed of three members, Julio Bueno AKA "Metro", Jorge Bueno AKA "Blevia" and Teo Garcia AKA "Teo".Metro got the idea to form a group in 2001 after watching the videos and hearing the "buzz" about Reggaeton music. He invited many people at school and on the streets to rap with him including his brother, Blevia. Soon after many battles in between classes and on the corner of Main Street. Blevia met Teo at school and found out that he was also into Reggaeton music. After many friendly battles amongst the two of them and even writing a couple of songs together, Blevia took him to meet Metro. Metro, impressed by what Teo was "spitting", he invited him into the group in 2002. Once together, they began to compete and win local talent contests. They won so much to the point that they were not allowed to compete locally anymore. At that point, armed with a new found sense of purpose, they began to produce Hip Hop and Reggaeton tracks and writing their own songs. They proceeded to search for recording studios and representation in the entertainment industry. In 2003, while working as a team leader at Target Corp., Metro met co-worker, Cheryl Paul, another team lead, whose husband, Anthony Paul, was in the industry, unknown to him. They began talking and Metro let her listen to his groups' music, she liked it and let her husband know about them.Within two months, Anthony Paul decided to work with them and gave them a vision of a promising future in the entertainment industry. In 2004 and 2005, they performed at Memorial Park in Spring Valley, NY for Spring Valley Day. They "wowed" the crowd at The 2005 Puerto Rican Day Parade in Manhattan, NY. They have recently recorded numerous songs such as "Gata Bravukona" and "Hablen Ahora". But their biggest highlight thus far is on a promotional CD named "NAVAN SESSIONS". Their title song is "Noy Hay Arreglo" featuring BLAM (who is an upcoming rap artist also under Anthony Paul's tutelage). The song is a mix of Reggaeton, Hip Hop and Rap. The promotional CD and song are being well-received by the public as well as numerous artists on the CD.Check out this video: Blevia Live!!! part 2
