The band got together out of a mutual feeling of frustration during the pinnacle of pub-rockdom. They felt that there just wasn't enough sensitive dawdling over keyboards, glockenspiels, sleigh-bells and assorted musical paraphenalia and that it was up to them to give tweedom back to the people.
