About Me

He started studying piano at the age of eight years facing the studies classics and achieves the Teaching License of Theory and Solfeggio in 1984, under the guide of several teachers, which the M° Augusto D’Ottavi.
He specializes itself in Didactics of the Pianistic Technique with the M° Riccardo Marini at the conservatory of Perugia.
He studies modern harmony, improvisation and arrangement with the M° Massimo Fedeli, Ray Santisi, George Garzone, John Ramsey and Eddie Wied. In 1997 he participates to an European course of formation in NLP (neurolinguistic programming) and communication finalized to the education.
From 2002 he is teaching for Steinberg certified courses.
From 1991 he is teaching modern piano, keyboards and improvisation in some private schools in Rome.
From 2006 he is teaching modern piano, keyboards and improvisation at the School of music SONUS FACTORY in Rome.
Artistic Activities
Pianist/keyboard player/arranger/accordionist/composer, beyond to the teaching activity of, works as sessionman as in studio that gives as live sessions, exhibiting in several clubs and italian theatres, and collaborating with numerous artists (Jim Kelly, Rosario Giuliani, Francesco Lo Cascio, Giovanni Palombo, Ettore Fioravanti, Armando Corsi, Rosario Jermano, Piotta, Luca Nostro, Zsolt Kovacs, Davide Grottelli, Davide Pentassuglia, Pierpaolo Ranieri, Michael Rosen, Enrico Ghelardi,Projecto Heleda by Francesco Bennardis and many others).
In 1997 he exhibits in the original rock opera “Lady M” to the Greco Theatre in Rome.
He collaborates stablily as arranger and sessionman with Gian Franco Reverberi (Mina, Lucio Dalla, Gino Paoli, Bruno Lauzi, Giorgio Calabrese). Like pianist companion, he has collaborated with the singer, teaching to the Black Nexxus of NYC, Mary Setrakian (Nicole Kidman, Juliette Binoche, A. L. Webber, Walt Disney).
He partecipates to many tv and radio shows, as Uno Mattina (RAI 1), Speciale POP (Radio RAI) Travel in Italy (RAI Stereo 2) with the band of the Caro's One & the Sarracinians.
From 2004 he collaborates with the Curci Musical Editions realizing the minus one of the necklace “Per chi suona il…” for sax, trumpet, clarinet and flute. In 2004, with the trio to his name (Zacchia, Cantarano, Fioravanti) and with the Giovanni Palombo Acoustic Trio, play to the 1st edition of the Fandango Jazz Festival in Rome (Italy).
In the 2005 exhibits itself to 5th the European Jazz Festival in Athens with the Giovanni Palombo Acoustic Trio.
