About Me
I am originally from Michigan but moved to New York in 1999 and lived there until 2001. I lived in LA for a couple years then went back to Michigan for a year now I am back in New York, I know pretty confusing huh? I have been playing drums very seriously since 1983. I have played and toured with KID ROCK, I was in the Josh Dodes band, who were chosen to be on VH-1's "Bands On The Run" reality television series, I was a featured drum instructor on MTV's "Becoming" Blink 182 episode, I played with Mike Case Kissel (Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, George Clinton, David Bowie, etc......), and many, many more artist's who are listed on my site (jo-jomoceri.com). I have also been chosen to play with Carl Burnett (David Sanborn, Boney James, Robin Ford, Bill Withers, etc.) live on the air on WVOF, 88.5 "The Upper Room With Joe Kelley". This will be happening on April 9th of 2007. I will post the material on this page assuming I get a copy and I finally figure out how to download my music onto this site. This is going to be a great gig! I love comedies, my favorite movie ever is The Big Lebowski, Walter Sobcheck rules! I love my X box, my favorite game is The Suffering and my favorite classic game ever is Robotron. My favorite comedian ever is Steven Wright and my other faves are Judah Friedlander, Rich Vos and Classic Andrew Dice Clay, I am pulling for him on his comeback. My favorite bands are Parliament, Tribal Tech, Chick Corea (Elektric band), Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughan, AC/DC, Public Enemy. My Favorite singers are Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Sophia Ramos, Curtis Mayfield, Mariah Carey, Terrence Trent D'arby, Chris Cornel, Rachelle Ferell, to name a few. My favorite styles of music are Funk, Hip-Hop (old school or underground), Fusion Jazz, but I realy just love great music no matter what style it is. That's a little about me.
