Educator by day, super fly Disc Jockey by night, Daniel “DJ Vicious†Helvetius has been entertaining crowds with his unique style of spinning for nearly a decade. Stepping into the game on the east coast around the turn of the century with two turntables and a microphone, DJ Vicious always found a way to make a buck from the start. His passion for music only grew once he smashed into the college scene. “Music is lifeâ€, DJ Vicious says.
DJ Vicious has donated countless hours of his craft toward charitable events. He has been a regular at Chente’s Day which is an event held in honor of “Vincent B. Sanchez†who passed away in 2004 of Leukemia. He also volunteered for the Killeen Muscular Dystrophy Lock Up for Jerry’s Kids. DJ Vicious also volunteers time at local school events. Additionally, he has been hosting a 2008 Block Party series in central Texas with his new label RnR International Inc.
Whether it’s house, hood, clubs, bars, car shows, weddings, or Quincenieros, DJ Vicious has the talent to be the life of any party. Versed in the art of creating Chopped and Screwed music, DJ Vicious never misses a chance to put his spin on things by throwing in a Reggae and Reggaeton blend mixed with Rap and R&B. Presently he is focused on taking over the mixtape circuit from Central Texas with his diverse style blend of mixing.
