MS.NIKKI

"MS. NIKKI" (Adrienne Nicole Ward) was born December 30, 1982, in Wuerzburg, Germany to Helen Ward(Chicago, IL) and Mark Lee(Dayton, OH). Though she always had a genuine love for music, Adrienne discovered a way to express herself through poetry. It wasn't until the age of 14 that she began to put those words to a beat. A very ecclectic young lady, she listens to and finds inspiration in a variety of music. When asked about Adrienne's preference for the "golden oldies", her mother had this to say: "Nikki has always been very mature for her age...I used to let her listen to my [vinyl] albums all the time.......she's been here before." Now 25 yrs old with 3 beautiful children (Devon-11, Arianna-4, Azaria-2), Adrienne is working full steam ahead to provide a better life for her children. "I refuse to let anything stop me. Having a child/children shouldn't keep anyone from achieving their goals....My dreams are still going to become reality; they just got deferred a few times." Adrienne laughs as she refers to the birth of her three children having become a mother at the age of 15. She holds no regrets about her life and goes on to state that her son "saved her life". She will not explain what is meant by that statement, but promises to reveal the intricate details of her life through her music. "You'll just have to wait and listen", says Adrienne.
