sleeping kat

Tokyo based weekend slope style snowboarder SHIZU's solo project Sleeping Kat Recordings. She samples, programmes, plays bass guiter and use other instruments as sound efx for experiment her world. 1st EP was released under the name "name unknown" as secret project in 1999 in Shibuya and sold 100 copyies without much information. She featured mc Kiyomi on 2nd EP in 2000 under the name of "bloody kat bleeding"; currently Kiyomi's been working with d'n'b producers after the big hits in London. Shizu also worked with DJ Baku in 2000 under the name of bleeder. She has moved to Australia, srounded by nature with organic lifestyle, starting the next stage.
