Though I am not sure which one they are celebrating (from the British, the Russians, or the Taliban) the Afghans put on a pretty decent show. My wife can atest to the fact that I love fireworks ...

Coming Home Early |
I get to come home two weeks earlier than expected. My time here in Afghanistan has been cut short by two weeks. My replacement will be here and they won't need anymore. NO COMPLAINTS HERE...

Well since it is now August, I can say that I am leaving to come home next month. I may not make it home next month but at least I will be on my way.
