Stepheni Haney is a talented singer, songwriter and musician. She began singing at a young age from the platform of Christian Life Center in Stockton, California. She was one of the key soloists at CLC for many years. It was there that her talent and interest in music begin to flourish. She soon started writing and dedicating much more time to her love of interest in music. This is what formed her to be the incredible singer, writer and musician she is today.
Stepheni led CLC Mass Choir for over 2 years. She also traveled with several groups as they sang, performed, and ministered all over the United States.
Stepheni also took Classical piano for several years and now plays mostly by ear. She has always loved Jazz so she tends to gravitate towards the jazz-type, and dark melodic chords. It was shortly after leaving California, that her passion for Politics led her to the heart of D.C. to get insight on Policy, Legislative, Economic, and Social Issues. Politics often dominates her thoughts but she realizes that the world is much bigger than just this wonderful city called, DC. In the midst of the fast paced, and self-absorbed mentality that she often experiences, she finds herself escaping to her world of music. That is where once again the writer within begins to write.
Not long ago, she experienced one of the darkest nights, and even thought she might not make it another day. But she turned to the ONLY ONE Who knew her heart, and who looked beyond her faults.
Now, in this stage of Stepheni's life she has just released an album that deals with REAL life situations, complications, disappointments and pain. The song "Dearest Mother" is a personal letter to her mother who has been her Rock. She taught her by example to never give up even when going through deep, dark, and lonely nights.
