About Me

Gann Brewer has recently released his debut, self-titled CD on Ringo Records of Memphis. Released July 1st, 2008, the 14 song acoustic-based compilation (featuring 9 originals, 2 covers, and 3 traditionals) is palpably influenced by his passion for living and travelling abroad, coupled with his love of any song that mentions dogs or trains.... He lives the life of a troubadour, finding inspiration for his songs in tiny bungalows, tropical rainforests, the German alps, or maybe the beer joint down your road. Give us a hollar if you want him to come to your town! ----------------------------------------------------------I certainly am one that played Gann on the Radio.----- He seriously reminds me of John Prine. ----- Larry Hillberg ----- KVMR/FM Radio ----- Nevada City, CA ---------------------------------------------------------- I love the CD and have kept it in my rotation at the station. Always hard to play everything every week when you only have 2 hours. Brewer is sort of in the mold of John Prine, that style between talking and singing while spinning yarns about the uncommon common folk with a wry sense of humor and great respect for real people.
