Killing Pit For Decadence

About Me

basically, we play a mix of punk, metal, and screamo, we are constantly changing our line-up, because our second guitarist postition is often vacant. we lack the ability of most bands to make our music really interesting, but we try. most bands and people in our town hate us, and constantly talk shit about us, but we keep playing. our first two shows were jokes, and we barely had songs, and certainly couldn't play our instruments. most of us are self-taught, and don't know the names of the notes we play, just that they sound good. we usually play at Billy Baloneys in Danbury, because Billy is awesome, and we usually have to get our own gigs...no one books us...feel free to though! we're pretty bad at the recording thing, we're much better live, because you can actually hear the parts we're playing. we usually play with Revolutionary Smut, mostly because they're great and the shows we book we usually include them in.Bands we have played with:
Revolutionary Smut
Social Blowout
Sadplant
Stud Party
The Dipshits
The Thomas Chronicals
Psycho Tooth
Safe to Say
Skeletors Revenge
The Morning Paper
Yesplease
The Screw-Ups

Lil' Apple Dandy: Lead vocalish things, and much to his distaste, Rhythm Guitar!

SpaKle Soj: Bass, and other lead/gang/backup screaming/talking/yelling

The Dingo: lead guitar, gang vocals

Pond-Scum: slapper of skin, hitter of sticks
Influences: We're all influenced by similar bands, and that's a lot of bands, mostly punk and screamo, with some metal and ska thrown in: Pg. 99, Leftover Crack, Revoluationary SMUT, Circle Takes the Square, Avenged Sevenfold, Streetlight Manifesto, City of Caterpillar, The Kodan Armada, Bad Religion, Strike Anywhere, Screeching Weasel, The Dead Kennedys, The Unseen, The Misfits......and a lot of local bands, which for some reason actually don't mind playing with us....
Sounds Like: nothing you would like to hear, because it may cause to never hear anything again, if you're lucky, u may be able to hear other horrible things, like screeching and screams, u know, the kind that are made by those insane, axe-wielding murderers, who are being chased through the night by crazed citizens, wielding garbage cans and rabid weasels
