Ntopa Styles (Dope Styles) crew created in 2005.A hip-hop crew representing the city of
Xanthi ( North-East of Greece).The members of the crew are Atimos(Mc, Producer & Graphic
Designer) and Flegomenos Penas(Mc & Graffiti Writter) as well as Rain Girl who gives her
own personal mark as a Graphic Designer & Video Editor.They began listening to Hip-Hop
music in '98 where they would listen to Greek, however mostly foreign hip-hop music scene
as they look up to it and get influenced by its roots, with artists like KRS
ONE,Gangstarr,Rakim,Îas,Notorious BIG,Big L,Onyx,NTM and many others to come as it's
impossible to refer to all of them.In other words they listen to black music like
Jazz,Soul,Funk,Î’reakbeats,Reggae and good old Rythm N'Blues, the old and new school of
Hip Hop as well as other kinds like Disco,Drum 'N Bass,Trip Hop.They started by
freestyling on instrumentals and by writing lyrics since 2001.In 2000 they had joined a
crew with some others where in 2004 very few lives took place and no projects at all
until in 2005 they left it for their own personal reasons.As a result, in 2005 Atimos (Founder of Ntopa Styles) decided to establish "Ntopa Styles" together with Flegomenos Penas, proudly saying they've got several live concerts
throughout Greece and an independent discography.Their music's style mostly contains
aggressive lyrics but they also refer to whatever happens around them, in their daily
life, to life in general and their sound mostly has to do with hard beats and bass-lines
since they fancy hardcore-boom bap style.Today, Ntopa Styles working hard on their brand
