It takes a nation of several to hold us back

About Me

Dave's new years resolution for 2006 was to learn to play guitar. By summer he could fumble his way through a few Drive-By Truckers songs. One night LeMaster stopped by and sang along. Jack had a garage and liked to play guitar as well. Lots of people started showing up to play cover songs until it got too crowded and several had to be asked not to come back. Ryan was one of those, but he just kept coming back, which actually worked out really well in the end. Aaron hadn't played drums in eight years, but had nothing better to do, and after Jack bought a kit Aaron started playing it. Mark had been a regular at Dave's bar for awhile and it finally came out that he played guitar. He came round to the garage one afternoon and proceeded to blow the fucking doors off the place. The other five still can't figure out why he wants to keep playing with them, but they thank gawd every day that he does.

Somewhere in there Jack and Dave started writing songs and thats where any remaining energy went that wasn't used in the process of arguing about band names.

Sometime later the band parted ways with Aaron. They played without a drummer for awhile, but soon Eric came along. Eric was a semi-regular at Dave's bar and it turned out that he played drums and soon he was an official member. Eric knew a guy named Dave who played keyboards and it wasn't long before they became a seven piece.

Currently they are working on recording some songs and playing some shows. As soon as they do either of those things they will be listed on this page. They suggest you return to this page every day, several times a day, to check for updates and to leave friendly comments.
