Mike (rhymes with bike!)

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I like chocolate and ice cream and pork. No explanation needed. I like Garden Burger Meatless Riblets because they are the ultimate in post-modern eats. I like to listen to old mixtapes and wonder what the heck I was thinking when I put them together. Ah, the age of Napster. Thems were the days.

And this is Fred, my lazy roommate. She better start laying golden turds because her vet bills are expensive!!! The technical term for this camera angle is "Cat butt view." So say the serious photographers, camera-mavens and expert hobbyists.

My Interests

3rd World Debt Cancellation, Revolution, Music, Sleep, Snowboarding, My Bike(s), Food, Post-Colonial Theory, Pork

I'd like to meet:

People who like to ham it up (or people who like ham). People who share an affinity for veggie corn dogs. People who burp on command. People who can debate the merits of Prince's I Feel 4 U vs. Chaka Khan's I Feel for You-- both are great but I can't decide which one is superior. A good copy editor. Co-conspirators for world domination.

Music:

Radiohead, Nas, Jay-Z, Peaches, Jean Grae, Dilla, Le Tigre, The Roots, Common, Bjork, Bloc Party, The National, Phoenix, Architecture in Helsinki, Blonde Redhead, Mary J. Blige, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, The Mountain Goats, Cure, Malkmus, Nina Simone, Magnetic Fields, Daniel Johnston, Sonic Youth, Cansei de Ser Sexy, The Replacements, The Sounds, Ratatat, and others. Right now I just like that ole electrical dance music. I feel like I want to catch up with those post-high school club-kid years that I never had.

Movies:

Even if that movie's got biting satire, zombies are no laughing matter.

Television:

Pre-2005 Food Network, Conan O'Brien, Veronica Mars, Buffy, Flight of the Conchords

Books:

My book list is a nerdy book list. Best not to reveal its contents at this moment.

Heroes:

Willow Rosenberg, Nick and Nora Charles and their dog Asta ..
