About Me

Raleigh's LONGEST-RUNNING open mic night, having rocked for over 22 years at the historic Berkeley Cafe. I am a hub for many of the Triangle's most respected musicians and a haven for any kind of music lover. Rock, blues, country, punk, you name it - it's been played at the Berkeley Jam. A great place to meet other artists!I feature a GIANT stage complete with all the gear a rock star could ask for - full drum set, guitar and bass amps, mics, and 2 DI boxes for acoustics/keys, etc. Play alone, with your band, or with the Jam's outrageous house musicians. Any way you do it, you'll sound kickass!THE BERKELEY also features a full bar in it's own room, large stage viewing area, and outdoor patio. .. (This site is NOT an official page for The Berkeley Cafe. For information about The Berkeley Cafe and up coming shows please visit www.berkeleycafe.net.)
