Extract from review of Destroying All You Ever Loved: "Reginald are a collection of four 17-19 year olds from Dumfries/Glasgow who combine the complex arrangements of Fall of Troy with the raw heavy guitar sounds of Biffy Clyro. On the live stage, they are a brutally tight band who are a joy to watch. when you first look inside the booklet and read through the lyrics, you’d be forgiven for thinking Reginald are some kind of shit metal band trying to sound hard as they sing about death, murder and the apocalypse. So, you might be tempted to laugh, but as soon as you actually listen to the songs it’s obvious that they are laughing along with you, and they are in fact parodying the kinds of bands who sing this kind of stuff with a straight face. Reginald tell tales of bears with handguns and cyanide sandwiches."
