I'm Julie.
I am a recent graduate of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. I graduated May 10th of 2008. Presently, I live in Butler, PA but am willing to relocate.
I have had the opportunity to work with multiple guest artists and faculty such as Helanius Wilkins, Tom Truss, Teena Custer and Ursula Payne through my years of study in the dance program.
At the university level, I completed a variety of courses ranging from beginning to advanced levels of dance technique in ballet, modern and jazz. I have also taken several dance classes pertaining to dance history, kinesiology, dance production, Laban Movement Analysis, creative dance, improvisation, and dance composition, in addition to general Liberal Studies courses
I dance because I love being active through movement. Not only is dance aesthetically pleasing, but also physically pleasing. My inner creativity shines through as I allow my skills and artistry to immerge. Creating movement brings happiness to myself and others by informing them on new ideas and aspects of life.
