Myphoria started somewhere in the summer of 2007 with Miles and Mark jamming for years. Alex joined soon after. We cover a broad range of styles and have enjoyed the diversity of our music.
Mark is the point man who is constantly at work either recording new tracks, booking shows, organizing rehearsals, or advertising the band. The band’s “studio†is in Mark’s basement where the magic happens.
Miles is the host of the countless hours of jamming and rehearsing with the drum set conveniently placed at his house. He always has something to do, so it is tricky to juggle everyone’s schedules. During jams, he is known for always keeping the jam alive and he wears ridiculous looking noise-canceling head phones.
Alex is the style guru. He can come up with a new jam in any style, and at any time. He always takes the jam in a new direction just when you think it can’t get better (or worse!). Alex can be seen wearing his classic two-toned shirt.
We hope you enjoy the tracks we make and the shows we do. We aren’t trying to fit in the pop music mold. Our mission: explore the music, let it teach you while you create it, and get the world out of the common time trap (Jordan Rudess). Enjoy!
