Ill persona, In its many shapes and forms was originally formed in 2002 by guitarist Jimmy "Dooner" Cole and bassist Corey Davis. The two started writing and preparing songs looking for that perfect someone to sing them. Then entered vocalist John Andrew Bubba Smith. With smith they were on their way. With many gigs and a couple drummers under their belt, they then met Drummer Derek "D-Rock" Russell in 2004. The final band lineup was complete.
The band gigged and wrote new material and began to record a new album after 2002's "Provocative Profanity", but unfortunatly that album would never be finished. The band split up in late 2005. Smith, Davis and Russell went on to form bands such as Sintilla and Southcore. Jimmy Cole moved back to hometown Idabel, Ok and formed Three Man Kill and pursued solo projects. Now in 2008 Ill Persona(Smith, Cole, Russell) is ready to start goin. With a new bassist and new songs on the way, things could be different . Stay tuned with more news to come!!
