Just had my five year anniversary. My husband, Bobby and my three daughters Aizlynn, Avery, and Lila are my world. I am happier now than I've ever been. Things are just falling into place. We have a dog, two new kittens, and two rats. What a combo. I work a lot, so I spend almost all of my extra time with my family. They are what life is all about. I still can't believe that we are so lucky. We still stare at the girls (and each other) in awe of these three awesome little human beings that we made. There have been some rough times. After all, we didn't do any of this in the most picture perfect way. But I couldn't ask God for a more devoted husband. He takes all of me, good and bad, and loves it. It sounds so typical, but we are more and more in love with each year, and the hard parts have only made us appreciate each other on a whole new level. I am such a lucky person. Bobby has a lot of different hobbies, and is an extremely talented person. Aizlynn is five years old. She is the craziest kid, I never imagined a child could be so fearless. Her body is that of a seven year old, and she hasn't quite gotten used to it. She has more cuts and bruises than I've had in my lifetime, and has given me a few trips to the ER. She is extremely social, though she doesn't quite know the norms yet. She is also a tender hearted little girl, and extremely loving. She only wants your approval and cuddling, and all the trees to climb that the world has to offer. Avery is four, very little for her age, and an overwhelmingly typical girl. She loves all that is pretty and delicate: unicorns and horsies and ponies, girlie dresses and sparkly shoes, playing dress up and coloring, mermaids and fairies. She has a sweet little voice, her Daddy's blue eyes, and bouncing blonde curls, but don't let her fool you. She is the center of the universe. Lila is two. Daddy is definitely her favorite. And rightly so, she looks and acts just like him. She is the biggest goofball, loves to be tickled, and is stubborn as all get out. She is kind of a loner at this point, possibly because of her age, but she sure does like attention. She loves to dump things on the floor, and recently cut her bangs herself. She wants to do everything herself, except go to bed. She is stingy with hugs, but when you do get one, it's the biggest and best of your lifetime. It takes awhile to win her over, but she is an absolute delight once you earn her love. All told, our girls are all so very unique that we have to keep on our toes. It is a joy to be in my shoes, as I never envisioned to be surrounded by such a wonderful family.
