Bio: The Don is rapidly making a name for himself as a gifted producer and a talented rap artist. Being a product of a bi-racial marriage, Plaiboi’s Jamaican Chinese descent kept him at the center of attention from an early age. Upon migrating from Spanish Town Jamaica at age 5 with his mother to Miami, Plaiboi was heavily involved in sports music, performing arts and just about anything that would allow him to display his talents amongst a crowd. At age 11 he was awarded the lead role as Tom Sawyer in a school play “Tom Sawyer†in which he stole an adult crowd with his innovative antics and ability to add creative ad-libs on the fly. As an adolescent he excelled in both academics and athletics as he lettered in varsity football and track in Miami, FL. Plaiboi’s early music influences included 2 live Crew, KRS 1, JT Money, Busta Rhymes, 2 Pac and Mobb Deep. “My first rap performance was in 1994 at the school auditorium the summer school before my freshman year of high school. The crowd’s reaction to Plaiboi’s duo performance to Naughty By Nature’s Hip Hop Hooray instrumental was outstanding. Although the crowd had no idea of who this young freshman was, their reaction to his performance was as if it was Naughty By Nature themselves performing. The crowds love affair with Plaiboi’s persona on the stage followed him into adulthood.
