Wherever does one begin to put into words those qualities that makes a person who they are?
I suppose I would begin with stating those things I think most others would say about me. I’m someone possessed with a passion for music. I cannot begin to express the depths of my feelings for music. It is my best friend, my confidant, my mentor, and my release. In having said that I cannot say that I am fond of all musical genres, but I’m willing to listen to most anything. In another life I once was a percussionist. Sometimes I still look back with a longing desire to play again but I never can seem to find the time.
As a person I think that I am a thoughtful, deep, and introspective person who wears his heart on his sleeve. I’m deathly afraid of relationships, not commitment mind you, but at failing someone I care for although I still yearn for passion and tender moments with someone who understands me. I crave communication. In saying that I mean I love learning about people hearing their stories, the lessons they've learned, the heartache, the joy, and all things in between. I love to debate philosophical ideals, if for no other reason than to see the passion of another as they try to explain themselves and what they believe.
I am an avid dreamer with hopes to one day run a coffee shop where culture isn't a word but a living entity. I long to travel the world and see all of the wonders this world has to offer that you can’t experience from watching television. Finally, I am an idealist. Which is quite funny that I have these great ideals of how the world should be and am not afraid to stand up for what I believe in but at the same time I’m one of the most shiest people you may meet.
As I read this, those words seem to lack catching who I am and what I believe, perhaps I shall try again later.
