Paul Kennett

Bristol born, now permanently residing in London via the pebble beaches of Aberystwyth, Paul Kennett; Producer, Singer, Songwriter & MC, has lived and breathed music from an early age. Classically trained in Piano, Flute and being a self taught guitarist has allowed him to write music from across all genres. His early endeavours include lead flute roles in The Bristol Symphony Orchestra and being the lead singer/songwriter for Bristol indie band 'Goldtone'. Now he performs and writes for London based alternative hip hop duo 'Running On Empty' who, amongst other achievements, have been featured on and were winners of BBC 1Xtra's Home Grown Cuts Competition. In 2007,2008 and 2009 Paul was awarded for his writing talents when all his entries in the UK Songwriting Contest reached the Semi Finals. Most recently he has written songs specifically for a class of 6 year old school children, in London, which are being used to maintain their energy levels and keep their minds focused throughout the day. Paul’s ambitious hunger and love for music enables him to write and produce to any specification. He thrives on new challenges and is always looking for new projects and artists to work with.
