Jack Penny grew up in a little part of east van known as "The Drive"- where musicians barely outnumber the coffee shops, and dogs spend hours lounging in video stores. Her songs are about this and that, odd moments that come to life. Miss Penny learned to play piano at a young age and guitar at a not so young age. She has a great love for horizons, pickles, and games. Often compared to the likes of Norah Jones, she would much, much rather be remembered as: "The Girl with a voice like butterscotch syrup" - or something like that...

This is from awhile ago. 16 and still naive. 1st place winner in the Canadian Butterfly 208 contest in 2006. Prize included an all expense paid trip to Kenya and a chance to film there as a Global Youth Ambassador. It also screened at the Aids Conference in Toronto that year.
