I have been playing the drums for over 20 years and I play every time like it's the last time I will ever play.
Artists I have played with always comment on my impeccable sense of a solid time center, tasteful creativity, and ability to work well with people.
My main project at the moment is recording for fresh new Houston-based band "In The Red Ministries". We are in the process of mixing down our EP now, which will be uploaded on this page soon.
I also am an active drum instructor in the Sugarland and Richmond area of Houston, teaching all ages beginner to intermediate.
I began playing on an electronic REMO kit in 1987 jamming with my dad on the guitar. Rotated for first chair percussion in Middle School Symphonic Band and then started playing drums in youth group at Grace Outreach Center in Plano, TX. I played on the road for Master's Commission of Plano. After that I went on to play drums with Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia. I played in cover band "Twelve Tribes" with our first gig at the Sydney Opera House. I performed with blues artist Tony Martin and country artist Steve Vassallo. Also while in Australia, I toured with Reuben Morgan for a show in Perth.
During this time I have pursued many musical avenues which have included singing, songwriting and playing guitar as well as leading worship at Grace Outreach, St. Mary's Hillsong Extension Service, Emerge City Church, and more recently with The Sanctuary Fellowship in Houston, TX.
Since I've been back in the States I have played and recorded for R&B Soul artist "Brielle", Dallas-based rock outfit "The Visible Sound", and Tulsa, OK band "The Blooms" in NYC.
I am available for recording sessions either on location or at Lucky Run Studios in Richmond, TX. I specialize in pop / rock, playing in a style similar to what you would hear on recordings by such a wide span of artists as Foo Fighters, Carrie Underwood, Third Day, Israel Houghton, Chris Tomlin, Keith Urban, Maroon 5, etc.
Currently I am offering some competitive per song rates for studio recording for bands and solo artists. Send me a message for the special rates.
