raison d’être is the main project of the worldwide highly respected and multitalented sound artist Peter Andersson, who has been a composer within the dark ambient, industrial, noise, electronic and experimental fields since 1988. For one and a half decade, and with a vast number of CD releases on the Swedish label Cold Meat Industry (coldmeat.se), raison d'être have been supplying listeners with overwhelming dark ambient industrial landscapes of beauty and sorrow.
