Saying Goodbye now available @ CDBaby.com!!

About Me

Disember formed when frontman Ryan Dengel, and bassit Geo Olsen formerly of Cascade joined forces with former members of Subtle Anderson, frontman Steve Chambers, and then bassist Drew Ziegler.
The four had been friends for some time, and it just happend to unfold that both bands, Cascade and Subtle Anderson were parting ways. Dengel knowing that Ziegler had played drums before, asked that he would play drums for a few shows that the band had booked prior to breaking up. Chambers came in not shortly after, and thus, Disember was formed.
Fans have noticed right away the strong chemistry of the quartet. It is as if they have been playing together for years, and it is very apparent spending time with them, or watching them on stage.
Though the record "Saying Goodbye" (APRIL 13th 2007), is mostly a composite of Cascade's work, there are definitely hints of what is to come from Disember. Though the drum tracks were already written and performed by former Cascade drummer Adam Sproull, and most of the guitar leads by Ryan Davis, Chambers was able to perform both his signature ambiant guitar, and haunting melodic vocals. While Ziegler was unable to perform on the album, his input was no less important.
The band is melodically driven, and full of catchy hooks, and melodies that will be stuck in your head for days.
