Czechowicz, a Wisconsin native and former New England performer, charms audiences with her instantly colorful and vivid, yet mellow voice. Greatly influenced by truths she sees in nature, Czechowicz has an intense desire to be authentic with both her songwriting and her life.
"I want to live a simple life. The more things we have and fill our life with the more complicated things get and less focused we are on what really matters", said Czechowicz.
At 23, Czechowicz sees and writes about issues beyond her years with an endearingly innocent view. Her songwriting has been strengthened by time spent during her senior year in college at the invitation-only Contemporary Music Center (CMC) on Marthas Vineyard. The CMC is the nations only artists colony exclusively for up-and-coming musicians and music industry executives. She was awarded a four-month residency at the CMC, where she wrote, recorded, performed and perfected a style, already well tested by touring and performances in various venues throughout the country.
"In the future, I see myself traveling to different cities, always seeing new faces, exposing the authenticity of my music to give somebody something to relate to. Because where there is authenticity, there is hope", Czechowicz said.
Lindsey has recently moved to the Chicago area where she will be playing locally at various venues to promote her new EP, "Down to the Inside". "Down to the Inside" was recorded this past winter on Martha's Vineyard and is currently available for purchase through itunes and CDbaby.
