PALMS

PALMS are an unlikely pair.
Cecil Frena is an indie rock promoter, and a multi-instrumentalist steeped in hardcore, whose various bands (snic, Aurora, Gift Eaters, Veil Maker, El Terran, etc.) have never sated his passion for folk music.
Real Cardinal is a sound designer for world-renowned video game company Bioware (Mass Effect, Neverwinter Nights, etc.), and an electronic musician whose background is rooted firmly in industrial music and the darker corners of experimental song.
However unusual it might be that these two can even get along, let alone make music together, one listen to PALMS makes it apparent that no other combination could produce the same gauzy, groovy, minimal dream-folk. PALMS creates music that feels at once effortless and microdetailed - and sounds virtually nothing like any of their other projects.
