About Me

Aspirant to The Loyal Order Of The Wogglebug

Addicted to sub-low frequencies

Driven by the need of building things. Not because it's cheaper (it won't be in the end) but just to have something that absolutely fits my needs, has the perfect style and is unique! That ranged from doing model planes as a kid... And now? Bicycles (whole build-up including bondo, paintjob, sewing upholstery and shit), my analogue modular synthesizer including a wooden enclosure buit from scratch, to DIY at home like laying laminate (a whole storey). Who knows, perhaps I'll even learn how to weld one day or will do my own clothes or furniture?

I got sporadic phases of misanthropy and nihilism. Besides that I feel pretty normal (my definition of normal, that is. ... the weirdos rule the world!)

My Interests

.sonic mayhem. .annihilation of coffee. .evil petting zoo. .building and riding my lowrider bicycle.
old things...Hot Rods. .Kustom Cars. .early traditional lowriders. .warbirds.

Music:

yeah, music!
listen: Mainly hiphop, dubstep, Some good ole P-Funk, electronica, prog-rock... Generally bass-heavy and powerful, rather dark. AND: If it ain't got the Funk, it ain't!
make: sound research on my modular synth, sound scapes, self-generating patches. use the whole thang as a big random generator
Recently I got myself some FX and a XBase beatbox so hopefull it'll turn into some real music one day.

Movies:

The Big Lebowski. best movie ever
Coen brothers, Jim Jarmusch, Kubrick of course.
"New Hollywood" movies like Zabriskie Point, The Getaway, Bullitt, Sugarland Express, The Duell.

Television:

hell no ... except ARTE perhaps.

Books:

first of all "Wasserwelt" by the one and only Paulina Schulz, the best sista around!
Bukowski, T.C.Boyle, Robert Harris, James Russell. I like good criminal stories.

Heroes:

the term hero does not exist for me
