UnUrban Irregulars

About Me

The UnUrban Irregulars came together accidentally, as a result of Brad Kay's regular Sunday afternoon gig at Santa Monica's UnUrban Coffeehouse. The group originally included cornetist Dick Miller, who moved to Paris in 2007, and drummer Brion Tajiri. Guitarist Mark Fletcher showed up in October 2004 and basically refused to leave. The gap left by Dick Miller has been filled by such luminaries as Dan Weinstein (trombone, trumpet, violin, tuba & vocals), John Lambdin (violin), Tom Marion (banjo, mandolin & mandocello), and Jerron "Blind Boy" Paxton (guitar, banjo, piano, vocals), among others (Brion still stops in when he can get a ride). To commemorate their many Sunday afternoon performances, Miller, Kay & Fletcher recorded the album "Pet My Dog!".To purchase the CD, visit CD Baby at http://cdbaby.com/cd/unurbantrio.
