My old man, He created an empire from nothing with no knowledge in the field. He came from Korea with a dream and can now proudly say that he has worked hard for his dreams. Alot of us forget what our parents have gone through and accomplished in life. I bow down to my dad not only out of respect, but because of the hardships he has suffered to be where we are today. He has provided for his family and we can now live comfortably. Even though I dont get to see him alot and my parents are busy working, i never bitch about how he never taught me anything. He chose a path that needed his full attention and im old enough now to understand the choices he made. He had to sacrifice alot of his time to his career and didnt get to spend time with his family but i never hold it against him. My dad has hugged me 7 times and has kissed me 3 (while he was drunk). He said that im a nobody and a useless bum countless times. He told me that he was proud of everything in his life but me. He has kicked me and yelled at me till I would cry. But hes my hero and I love him and can see past everything to his heart and i know deep down inside he loves me too.
