.....................PRESS"One of the best all-around guitarists, he can lend himself to any style thats required, going from tasteful jazz to balls-out country rock to Irish folk to dazzling classical with quiet ease while you shake your head and listen." Creative Loafing - Atlanta, Georgia.....................................................
............................................"David Patterson is one of the most creative and original sounding
guitarists out there....He can take a little three-chord song of mine to
whole new level with the stroke of his pick. And I don't think I've met
another musician who lives his music as David does."

ABOUT THE SONGS ON THIS PAGE"Anniversary" (Roland GR-30) and "Guitar Concerto First Movement" (Hirade no.8 and keyboard) were recorded and written in Atlanta, Georgia 1996-1997.
"What the ..." was done on a digital eight track machine, I played all instruments (guitars, mandolin, piano)
"Frank's Jazz" was a solo drum improvisation recorded in 2002 played by the magnificent Frank Laurino. I then added multiple tracks of guitar synth.
"Aria" was written specifically for "Universe Expanding" - a multi media event created by Cathy Shaw in 2005. I composed all of the music, and working only from a German text I wrote the "Aria".
"Ghosts" is from my CD "Selene" available through iTunes.
"Llama goes to Spain" - features Cybele Kaufmann on vocals. It was written as an Original Dance composition for York Dance Works here in New York City and was performed at Merce Cunningham Studios in 2008.
