The Team Wreckless movement was spontaneously established in 2002. Starting off by accompanying DJ Wreckless as roadies, spawning into an entourage, crashing the clubs and many local parties. The entourage grew bigger after each booking engagement, no matter what the occasion could have been. With the many talents spread throughout this Team Wreckless crew, many ideas would be sprung into action. The Team is now contained of good microphone handlers and lyricists, to track engineers and producers, and of course, good disc jockies.
The frontline members of the group consists of
Philly's Own DJ Wreckless, the accomplished ring leader that has DJ'ed at Shampoo, Dreemz, Sneaker Villa and many other places (check the large list of clubs & establishments he's DJ'd in the blog above!!);
Strugz - the hard-working performer and DJ, a track engineer & producer at TW's Majin Sqwawd Studio;
SUPA - aka: The Full Nelson aka: Supeyske Galore - TW co-founder and outlandish performer of the Hip Hop & Reggaeton genres;
Rob Diddy aka: COMPETITION, the rebelliously talented "Product" of the group, also representing Hood Real Records; and The
Marvelous Kid Wonder, our poetic and truthful South Philly representative, currently residing in Atlanta, GA. North Philly and South Philly unite within this diverse music group.
Officially in the TW Entertainment Music Group is:
Dezert E - formerly known as Blest, who has become an outstanding producer and performer;
Celloroti - punchline lyricist and artist out of the "Bricks," Newark, NJ;
Young Chic, also known as Killa Claud and Rob Diddy's official on-stage hypeman; and newcomer
Tone Montana - who is a cannon on the mic. We also still have our "Original Hypeman," promoter and sometimes performer,
Scowey Crackk.
The ideas that we thought of back in 2002 were finally being accomplished. More importantly, the TW Mixtape distribution had finally begun. 500 copies of the TW Mixtape: Volume 1 were handed out in the Fall of 2005 beginning at Philly's Puerto Rican Day Parade; a couple hundred started being re-released in 2006 during Grupo Fuego parties. The TW Mixtape: Volume
TWO wasn't given much time for promotion or exposure, but was a 'limited bootleg' for close fans, friends and family. (If you NEED A COPY, HOLLA @ US!!) Along with Rob Diddy's "Competition Mixtape," which was strongly pushed by TW and his second affiliation, Hood Real.
Members of the Team have also made feature guest appearances on other projects for other Philly artists such as Joey Caraz of the Illegal Art Network & The Official Boycott Radio (Shouts to Lee Jason); The Nasty Boyz & Blaze Roc of Time Now Entertainment; Mz. Lynx, formerly of Come Up Entertainment; Vandoza representing Virginia Beach (formerly of Mark Madness & Black Ball Productionz). Other establishments include Hood Real (Shouts to Krevdon, Asume, E-Blonk, Erio; R.I.P. to our friend MasterMind), Known Records (Shouts to Known, Bugz & Chino), Full Volume Productions (Cortez, Lyrikal, Strong Arms) and many others. DJ Wreckless even showcased a mixtape with the best North Philly artists, including The Ghost Writaz, Scard Livin and Don P & The Front Runnaz.
Team Wreckless Entertainment has performed at many venues, including local clubs like Club Diesel and Liquid Charm and local colleges such as the Community College of Philadelphia, Rosemont College, Temple & Penn State Universities for workshops, talent shows and special appearances.
The members of TW completed the Sneaker Villa Audition Concert Tour in the summer of 2006; Performing live at different locations of their stores on Kensington Ave; Broad St & Olney Ave; Broad & Thompson Sts; the Aaron McKie "Stop the Violence" Picnic (which included the former 76er, Chaka Fattah and other mayoral candidates). More importantly, TW and DJ Wreckless performed in front of approximately thousands at Unity Day on the Ben Franklin Parkway with a huge panel of DJs (Wreckless, DJ Curt, DJ R.O.B. ) and Pennsylvania artists throughout the tour. Alongside were: Mz_Lynx, Housewife, Montana Blak, Cheif Honcho, Kaution, Phene and many others. Sneaker Villa continues the tour annually hosted by The Truuf (formerly of Street Radio 92.9). Hopefully, TW will return to the tour in 2008.
It was reported that Team Wreckless Entertainment had stole the show with Mz_Lynx, Hood Real, Joey Caraz and the Illegal Art Network stable at The Concilio for
"RAGZ II RICHEZ 3", the annual Philly rap show for local artists organized by the locally popular BZ Ballaz Barbershop. TW's involvement led to making the cover of Norfilly.com Magazine for their March 2007 issue. TW's appearance at "Ragz II Richez 3" was also featured in a March edition of the EL SOL Latino Newspaper in the 'Zona VIP' section. Other artists in this showcase included Flo Dot, Rockie Reyes, Jess Blaze, SUP, OFS (Official Flame Spittaz), Scard Livin', Housewife, D'Vice, Reggaeton artist Qwest and others. It was surely a night to remember.
In late 2006, TW Entertainment started to become involved in a lot of grand openings for clubs and bars in Philadelphia. In October, we were apart of the grand opening of Club Xandu, formerly Club Egypt (located at the corner of Spring Garden & Columbus Blvd.); hosting certain club nights with promtional crews such as Xclusive Entertainment and ICE Entertainment. In 2007, another grand opening participation was at Club Samba on Girard Avenue (between 7th & Franklin Streets) for Reggaeton Sundays. TW's DJ Wreckless' spot was advertised on La Rumba 104.5 FM and in local spanish newspapers, AL DIA and EL SOL. DJ Wreckless also helped out for the re-grand opening at Deuce's Sports Bar on 2nd & Westmoreland Streets. Wreckless and Strugz also took over some crazy ass weekends at the local bar

The
Team Wreckless Models are being searched upon and the situation made the July 2007 cover of the NF Magazine on Norfilly.com, with the original TW Model, Katie Foley, gracing it. Check out some of our newest TW Models in our Top Friends' List below. We've already had several open calls and we're planning to make an impact. With that said, TW would to hand a shout to Thurman Martin III, the Editor at NF, who has been supported us greatly. Also a quick shout to CEG Studios for using their facilities at our last open call.
We WILL achieve more goals as we WILL CONTINUE to insert ourselves further into the music scene with mixtapes and albums, and the Philadelphia club circuits. Launching a new website has been in the works so we can keep you posted for updates on the TW's member's biographies, articles and picture galleries; including ways on purchasing exclusive TW Music & Merchandise.
You can listen to TW tracks here on our MySpace music page. Check out Supa, Strugz, Rob Diddy and beats by Dezert E in the Top Friends' List. The pages feature music from the Team Wreckless Entertainment library, showcasing many songs from the past and for future TW projects. We will try to have tracks changed from time to time for promotional purposes.
