Did you know that Kimberley-Clark, the maker of such popular brands as Kleenex, Scott, and Cottonelle, uses pulp and paper made from ancient forests to create their products? That means that 1,000 year old trees are being cut down for something you literally flush down the toilet.Even though they have repeatedly been asked by Greenpeace to incorporate more recycled fiber into their products rather than continue destroying forests like Canada's Boreal - the largest tract of ancient forest left in North America - they have refused. They have ignored the pleas of the Greenpeace activists who spoke at their annual stockholder's meeting, just as they have ignored the thousands of letters they have received and the colleges that have ended their contracts with the company for their ecologically unfriendly actions.Kimberley-Clark had over $18 billion dollars in sales last year. Clearly, money is the only thing these people understand, so let's hit them where it really hurts. Please join me in boycotting all Kimberley-Clark products, and getting your schools or businesses to cut contracts with them!Kimberley-Clark products include the following brands:Kleenex
