About Me
My name is Shaina and I am an 20 year old graduate from Canon McMilllan. I love to hang out with my friends, listen to music, write poetry/song lyrics, and just overall have a good time. I just recently (on January 8, 2007) lost one of my best friends that I've known since I was in 1st grade (about 12 years)..I loved her to death, and losing her has been one of the hardest things I've ever been through. She was an amazing friend, and I'm grateful to have known her for all the time I have. Love you Amanda!!
I have a wife named Bailey, who has been an amazing friend since 1st grade...due to a drunken conversation one night, she became my wife at some point, and the nickname has stuck. She and I have always had each other's backs, and I feel she is one friend I can tell anything to and she'll keep it between us/won't judge me for it. If anyone hurts her or any of my other friends, I get very defensive, and if my friend was in the right, I'll defend them in any way I can.
I'm a little American Idol obsessed...ok, not a little, I'm COMPLETELY obsessed, ever since the 1st episode of season 1. My fave from this year was definitely Chris. I like to sing, and I've been told by some that I have a nice voice.
My nicknames are Tinkerbell/Tink (Alicia and Maria), Sha-nay-nay (Lexie, Natalie, Alicia, Liz, Izzy Beth, Nikki, and a lot of others), Tania/Chickadee/Lil Big Sis (Alicia), Pillow...lol (Tommy), American Idol Whore/Amiga (Matt Baker), Tootsie (Hoss's joke), Stripper (again, Hoss's joke), Monkey Lover/Bad Koala (...lol....Christine), Stupid (don't ask, Keisha), and Bonko (again, don't ask, my dad). I love nicknames because it reminds me of little inside jokes or stories that can bring a smile to my face. :)
I try to get along with everyone, even though sometimes people make that impossible. I tend to absorb others' happiness and pain because I become too attached to people for my own good, and I've been hurt countless times becuz of it, one of which burned terribly. So I didn't like guys but at the same time wanted the closeness and affection of a relationship. I don't really make sense to many people...the person who has come the closest to figuring me out is the person who burned me, so don't try to reason me; save yourself the waste of time.
I like to make people laugh and to overall have a good time doing stupid stuff that I'll look back later in life and be glad I took the chance to do. I live for the moment, not really thinking of consequences or what could go wrong. Sometimes this is a bad thing, and leads to...well, let's just say I've done some retarded things in the past...lol.
I have a technically "step" sister named Alicia, 2 sisters named Kelly and Allie, 1 brother named Curt, and 2 step brothers named Andy and Bobby. I also have a step father. I live with my mother and step father (who I call my dad, so when I say dad, this is who Im talking about). Alicia moved out in October on her birthday, and I moved out the end of June for 8 days in order to get my parents to realize that I'm not that little girl any more, and I need my freedom. I also got kicked out of my house in the middle of August (after having moved back in the beginning of July) because I was caught having snuck out of my house in the middle of the night to go out. I was told to stay out after that night when she called my cell phone.
There were too many hermit crabs in that house for comfort but my mother loves them. I speak a little bit of Spanish (I should speak more cuz I got to Spanish IV honors).
I believe in love, regardless of where it is found. I don't think anyone has the right to choose what's right or wrong when it comes to someone's personal life. I feel people should have the right to get married, regardless if they're homosexual, heterosexual, or biracial. Love is free-spirited, and I feel we should treat it as such. If this makes me a "bad" Christian, so be it.
