In Issue #01: A feature interview with hypertext artist/creative writer, Carrie Meadows. Meadows has been nominated for the upcoming edition of Best New Poems and is a winner of the Poetry Society of Virginia Award sponsored by the Academy of American Poets. Her publications include the hypertext collection of poems, (NON)sense for to from Eva Hesse, and she has pieces published in New River Journal of Digital Writing and Art as well as fiction forthcoming in Fifth Wednesday Journal .Â
Open Call for Submissions
New online literary and visionary magazine seeks creative submissions from artists and writers to display on website as well as in a "virtually" published Issuu.com mag : poetry, flash fiction, flash non-fiction, digital poetry, photography (digitally altered or au naturale), collage, drawings, paintings, etc.
Favor given to the experimental and creative use of the digital medium. Favor given to art pieces that utilize words and language. Favor given to experimental and precise creative writing that utilizes visuals to enhance meaning.
Here is where you may connect creative communications as they are occurring across genres and artforms.
Creative writing should be kept under 1,000 words (submit up 3 flash fiction/nonfiction or 5 poems, attached word doc. or pasted into body of email).
Video or Audio should be no longer than 3 minutes (1 at a time, .html, .mp3 or .swf file - inquire please).
All art - submit up to 3 pieces, high resolution .jpg files at least 96ppi and 600p tall or wide).
Also accepting well-written reviews of creative websites or publications.
All material must be completely original!
