Born at the start of 2008, Star-fi recordings is the dream talked about many many moons ago by Tim 'lo-fi' stoakes and steve wood aka I am the woodstar, both DJ's from the early 90's with influences from both the underground house vibe of South London and the more uplifting style of the midlands and north of england.
