Coming into the rap game in 1994 by way of Sacramento underground rap legend C-Bo,who took him under his wing, getting him signed first to Awol Records in early 1995 where he appeared on several Awol releases, then later signing 151 to his own newly formed label West Coast Mafia Records in 2000...Finally in june of 2003, 151 dropped his highly anticipated debut solo album "Code of tha Street" which went on to sell over 10,000 copies in combined sales between retail,internet,and "mom & pop" outlets..The album was distributed nationally through Navarre...Later teaming up with fellow labelmates C-Bo,Killa Tay,Lil Cyco,And Speedy aka Gotti Gotti in the summer of 2004 released the West Coast Mafia Gang Album Titled "Gang Afilliated",with the video for the song "Gangsta Pimpin" getting solid play on B.E.T. uncut..The album has since sold well over 25,000 copies..151 has also been featured in several magazine publications such as XXL magazine, with a full page write-up in the "show and prove" section (Sept.2003 issue), also Black Beat,Murder Dog,Showcase,Xplosive,Rime,Seaspot,and Seattle Weekly...Representing Seattle, 151 has a universal appeal,specializing in street related topics but not limiting his-self as an artist,he is also able to capture commercial audiences...His new album "Power & Privilege" will prove that point,with solid production,good subject matter,and nice features such as Carl Thomas (of Bad Boy Records),Juvenile,Joe Budden,Kurupt,C-Bo,2 Pac's Outlawz,Yukmouth and Messy Marv to name a few...Further establishing his buzz 151 released a very impressive and well put together mixtape titled "Tha Barz Association" Mixtape which serves as an appetizer before his new album is released..It's 21 tracks of exclusive mixtape joints featuring 151 and the rest of his camp,which are a group of talented unsigned artists with major potential...»-(¯`v´¯)-» Design your MySpace with MyLook «-(¯`v´¯)-«
