Rich Hansen

Rich Hansen is a bassist and composer living and gigging in the Northern Utah area. Current bassist with Jazz Quartets Bossa Luna and Jazzanova, as well as the CCR Group Joyful Noise. Rich also regularly plays with, or has worked with many of the jazz alumni and instructors at Utah State University.From Los Angeles CA; 20 years experience playing; with professional touring and recording experience. Studied with bassist Jeff Berlin in LA, and currently studying with jazz bassist David Friesen. Forme bassist with Sundown recording artists Asa Cruz, Retrospect Records Artist Graven Image, and Zero Records recording artist Takara.Has worked with and/or recorded with the following artists: Pianist Patrick Moraz, Jeff Scott Soto (Journey), producer Rick Parashar (Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Blind Melon), David Ingraham (Bruce Dickinson, Young Dubliners, Tribe of Gypsies) John Bush, and Bob Daisley.
