Peter Knudsen is a Swedish pianist born in Östersund (northern Sweden), currently resident in Stockholm. Peter made his debut as a leader in 2008 with his trio and the album “Impressions- a tribute to Debussy and Ravelâ€, featuring music of the french composers in new jazz arrangements. During the summer '09, the trio toured with the programme in churches and music festivals in Sweden and France.
Peter is also one of the driving forces in the jazz group blåeld, both as a musician, arranger and composer, as well as the Zappa tribute band Great Googly Moogly! (an exciting 8-piece band, which have played at the prestigious Zappanale festival, as well as other enjoyable gigs).
